Shopify Developer
We are looking for someone to join our team as a Shopify Developer.
This position would be responsible for the architecture and development of our customer-facing websites and related web experiences. This position will be responsible for working on the frontend and backend of web-based websites using modern web technology such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, liquid and etc.
The ideal candidate is a Shopify generalist who enjoys challenge and variety.
Job Overview:
- Strong knowledge of liquid programming language
- Generate custom-tailored Shopify themes using Dawn
- Ability to alter pre–existing themes
- Act as Shopify expert, specializing in all facets of the eCommerce platform
- Strong hands to Install & Customize new Shopify theme
- Clear concept of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- Knowledge in other eCommerce platforms a bonus but not required
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholder
- Provide website maintenance and enhancements
- Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
Skills:
- Proficiency with both mobile and browser-based debugging and JavaScript performance testing
- Ability to work well with ambiguity and lead projects to completion
- Highly resourceful and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
- Researching, customizing, and implementing third-party add-ons, plugins, and other integrations
- Produce seamless, robust, and innovative front-end user experiences
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer
- 2+ years of experience with Shopify and Liquid
- Capable of developing Shopify themes from scratch
- Expert understanding and proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Experience integrating dynamic solutions with API Services
- A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
- Up-to-date knowledge and adherence to best practices across all development spectrums
- Strong skill and experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex web applications.
- Interest in staying current and applying the most current best practices
- Able to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment
- Has a true passion for design and technology
- A disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance
- Positive attitude, high energy, and love for broadening web development skill set
