How We Started

Seriously Creative Design, a division of River End Consulting Ltd, was created first and foremost to service small & medium size businesses. The foundation of SCD is built on of years of experience in multiple customer service industries and a deep desire to help our clients expand the 'technology' side of their businesses.

Founded in 1994 Seriously Creative Design has worked with small and medium size businesses on Vancouver Island and around the globe including clients in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom and Taiwan.

Kelly Darwin

Kelly Darwin has lived in the WestShore since first moving here at the age of 6 from Shawnigan Lake. After high school Kelly worked in the family restaurant before serving as a Sous Chef & Executive Chef in a number of restaurants and golf courses in the greater Victoria area.

After the birth of his son, and obtaining his Interprovincial Red Seal for cooking, Kelly went back to school and attended the Computer Systems Technology program at Camosun College and soon after became a partner in River End Consulting Ltd.

In 2006 Kelly and his wife opened In Bloom Floral Boutique, a local flower shop which has recently received national attention for their eco-friendly practices and "Green Initiatives".

In 2008 Kelly became the sole owner of River End Consulting Ltd. and set out to brand the company in way that better fit his style, business values and the services the company offers; such as Web Design, Hosting, Web Programming and Marketing.

In 2009 Seriously Creative was awarded the WestShore Chamber of Commerce 'Home based business of the year' award.

In his spare time Kelly enjoys all things creative such as graphic design, photography, music, playing in his band and spending time with his son.

Harley

Harley is in charge of our office recreational program and makes sure we get daily walks and a couple swims at the lake each week during the spring and summer.

Harley is also an expert greeter, sounding board, foot warmer and general overall moral booster.

In his spare time Harley enjoys chewing bones, walking, swimming and shaking paws.
